How do I book?
In order to book a class, you must either create an account online or login to your existing account and purchase a class/package of classes/membership or use classes/membership already purchased and available in your account. Then simply go to the schedule page, choose your class, and reserve a spot.
What do I bring?
Bring a sports/water bottle to fill-up from our machines. Besides providing water, we provide towels, the Pilates mats and locks for the lockers. No need to bring these! If you will be using our showers than you can bring your own towel(s) or use our Shower Towel Service for $2. We provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
What do I wear?
Wear comfortable workout clothes. You will sweat! We recommend lightweight clothing such as tank tops and leggings for women and t-shirts and gym shorts for men. Be comfortable! Cycling shoes are not required but are strongly recommended, because they provide a more efficient, smoother ride. Our bikes support SPD cleats and have shoe cages for sneakers. If you don't have cycling shoes, you can purchase a pair at a local bike store or online. Look for deals on Craigslist, Amazon and EBay. You should be able to buy a pair for as low as $30. We do NOT have shoe rental, sorry!
When should I arrive?
Arrive at least 15 minutes early for your first class. Our team will show you around the studio, introduce you to the instructor, and help you get set up on your bike. For future classes, please arrive at least 10 minutes early.
What should I expect?
Expect our staff to help you get acquainted with our studio, your instructor, locker rooms, and our bikes. At Cyclehaus, you will find a welcoming, supportive and noncompetitive environment. You can work at your own pace. Your experience at Cyclehaus should be therapeutic. You will be challenged, both mentally and physically. You will also be encouraged and inspired. When arriving please check your stresses at the door. You should leave feeling happier and lighter than when you arrived.
How should I prepare?
Arrive hydrated and ready for a fun class. Let the instructor know if it's your first class and if you have any medical issues or other concerns before class begins.
Cycling classes are great workouts that test your endurance, cardiovascular system and strength. Through a series of aerobic and anaerobic drills, these classes work the heart and lungs, strengthen the lower body and the core (abdominal muscles). Unlike most traditional aerobics classes in which participants need to be at comparable fitness levels, indoor cycling classes allow someone in great shape to ride next to someone who is just starting an exercise program. Each individual is responsible for the intensity of his or her own workout. Riders can modify their cycling resistance and pace according to their fitness levels. There are no fancy steps to learn and even if you don't know how to ride a bicycle you can enjoy the class because there is no balancing involved. As long as you keep pedaling you will maintain the aerobic benefits. If you are looking for a great way to burn fat and calories but are tired of traditional aerobics, stair machines and treadmills, a cycling class will probably put a new spin on things for you!
Our instructors are qualified and certified professionals who ensure that you get the workout you need and want, in addition to a strong focus on comfort and safety and individual results. We are dedicated to making Cyclehaus the best indoor cycling experience in Long Beach through our unique, comfortable, non-intimidating and fun environment.
The Yoga classes focus on strength, balance and flexibility of the whole body. Boosting your metabolism and building lean muscle mass as we flow through yoga poses using lightweights, yoga balls, blocks, and straps. We will also be working on healthy body alignments and breath awareness.
TYPES WE OFFER:
Mindful Flow: This is an open level class that will stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. The flow is practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. The class aim is to create a soothing and relaxing experience by mindfully flowing under the stars surrounded by candlelight.
Yoga Sculpt: This is an open level class that will focus on strengthening the whole body. Boosting your metabolism and building lean muscle mass as we move through yoga poses using light-weights. We will also be working on healthy body alignments and breath awareness.
Vinyasa Flow: This is an open level class that focuses on connecting your mind, body, and breath through mindful flow. This well-balanced flow class will get you out of your head and into your body and your breath. Vinyasa is a unique style of yoga where postures are linked together in a continuous, challenging and creative flow that combines strength and flexibility while toning the body and clearing the mind.
Half N’ Half classes
Our Half Cycle/Half Pilates classes start on the bikes and then move to the deck to finish this total body workout. Get ready to burn calories, tone muscles, and strengthen your core!
These half n half classes can always be indoors if it is raining, too cold, too wet, or too hot outside. Since there is never a Cycle class going on at the same time as these half n half classes, we are able to have the Pilates portion inside if we need to. The deck is covered by sails but the rays from the sun sometimes come through the sails, so make sure to bring sunscreen and sunglasses!
Pilates is a method of exercises and physical movements designed to stretch, strengthen, tone, and balance the entire body. It was developed by physical trainer Joseph H. Pilates in the 1920’s, as a way to help injured athletes and dancers safely return to exercise and maintain their fitness. Since then, Pilates has been adapted to suit people of all ages and fitness levels.
The Pilates portion of the class is conducted on a mat, utilizing free weights and your own body weight for resistance. This 25-minute portion of the class focuses on abdominals, arms, back, legs and glutes, providing you a total body workout. Each exercise emphasizes breath, core conditioning, and body awareness. Whether you’re a beginner or expert practitioner, this mat workout will strengthen the core, tone the arms, hips, and thighs, and flatten the abs.
Our Pilates is designed for both men and women, and modifications are provided for all levels of fitness. Due to the individual attention offered, this method can suit everybody from elite athletes to people with limited mobility, pregnant women and people with low fitness levels.
You will find much variation in every class. Each of our instructors has a unique style and personality. While you will start to get to know some of the exercises well, each class will feel different. All will leave you feeling wonderful!

Do I need to be physically fit to do this?
Cyclehaus is for all fitness levels! Indoor cycling can be a strenuous activity, but you control the resistance and the pace of your workout. The trick is to find a good balance between pacing yourself and pushing yourself. In all our Pilates and Yoga classes each exercise has a modification for beginners, intermediates, and advanced clients. Our instructors will keep you physically and mentally challenged no matter what your level is. All our classes are low-impact activities, which make them an ideal choice for anyone recovering from physical injuries, as well as women in pregnancy. If you are pregnant, please first see your doctor, to ensure that you are in good condition to exercise.
Do you have showers?
YES! Our men’s and women’s locker rooms have showers. We simply ask that you shower quickly to allow others to shower as well. We have Shower Towel Rental for $2. The showers have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your use.

No, our bikes are equipped for hard-soled tennis shoes. That said, we recommend cycling shoes because they provide for a more efficient, smoother ride. Our bikes support SPD cleats. If you don’t have cycling shoes but would like to purchase a pair, look on EBay, Amazon, and Craigslist for deals. You should be able to buy a pair for $30. We do not have cycling shoe rental, sorry!.
Do you have childcare?
Sorry, we do not offer childcare.
Do you sell water or other drinks? Do you sell any food items?
No, we don’t sell food or drinks. We do however have Cool Planet filtered cold water machines if you want to fill up a water or sports bottle. We want you to be hydrated for class!
Do you have lockers? Do I need to bring a lock?
Yes, we have lockers in our locker rooms so you can efficiently prepare for class and then get ready for the rest of your day! Unfortunately, we do not reserve lockers, so you must remove your items after your class. Lockers will be cleaned out at the end of each day. No, you do NOT need a lock. The lockers are key-entry.
Where do I park?
We are located at 3300 E. Broadway, Long Beach, CA 90803. We are on the corner of Broadway and Coronado Ave.
There is free parking in our lot across the street at 228A Coronado Ave., off the alley. We also have a few spots at Cyclehaus but NOT available Mon.-Thurs.7am-3pm. Two-hour limit if you park in our lot or at Cyclehaus, unless you are taking two back-to-back classes. Street parking is free with no time restrictions ON CERTAIN STREETS. Some streets have one-hour or two-hour limits. None of the streets have meters! Please allow yourself enough time to park before your class. Street cleaning around the building is on Thursdays and Fridays 10am-12noon and Fridays 8am-10am.
Are there age, height and/or weight requirements?
Yes. For indoor cycling you must be 13 years or older, 4ft. 11 in. or taller, and less than 350 pounds. Additionally, if you are between 13 and 18 years old, we require your parent or guardian to sign a waiver permitting your participation. Please request a waiver at our front desk or from an instructor.
For Pilates and Yoga you must also be 13 years or older. Additionally, if you are between 13 and 18 years old, we require your parent or guardian to sign a waiver permitting your participation. Please request a waiver at our front desk or from an instructor.
Can I do Cycling, Pilates and Yoga if I am pregnant?
Yes. Many pregnant women find Indoor Cycling, Pilates and Yoga to be a great low impact exercise; however, your physician must agree that you are in good condition to participate in our classes. Please alert the front desk staff or your instructor before class.
